🌸 Meet Ms. Naomi: A licensed clinical social worker, Naomi’s passion lies in helping animals in need and supporting children and adolescents with diverse abilities and goals. She currently works as a school social worker in the Milford Public Schools. With over 25 years of experience helping children and their families—and a lifelong love of animals—Naomi is excited to work with you and your family to help your child explore their interests and achieve their personal goals here in Newtown, CT. 🌸

🐖 Abbotts Hill Farm & Rescue in Newtown offers a wide variety of programs from spring through fall, perfect for children 18 months–11 years. Through hands-on animal learning 🐐🐑🐰🐓🐈 and community engagement 🌸🎨🤝, kids practice responsibility ✅, develop empathy 💖, make new friends 👫, and—most importantly—have fun! 🎉

☀️ 2026 SUMMER FARM CAMP & 🍿 NO- SCHOOL/POP-UP FARM DAYS

                Give your child a unique, fun-filled outdoor camp experience with us!

                                  🌱🐐🐑🐽🐰🐓

                           During Farm Camp, children will:

  • 🐐 Learn hands-on animal care: feeding, watering, cleaning, hay prep, nutrition & more

  •  🐾 Explore animal behavior, body language, and safe, gentle handling

  • 🌱 Garden, explore the farm, and act as “nature detectives”

  • 🎨 Create nature-centered arts and crafts using materials from the natural world

  • 🧘‍♀️ Practice mindfulness through yoga, meditation, and calming activities

  • 🌟 Participate in leadership opportunities with mentorship from Junior & Senior Camp Counselors

  • 💛 Build confidence, responsibility, and connection to animals, nature, and one another

📅 Session 1: June 22–26
📅 Session 2: July 6–10
📅 Session 3: July 27–31
📅 Session 4: August 3–7

💧 Drop-in Days are also available each week.
💰 Cost: $275 per child/session | $60/day for drop-ins

🍿NO-SCHOOL/POP-UP FARM DAYS:
📅 Dates: April 13 & September 21
⏰ Time: 9 AM–12 PM

🌱🧑‍🌾 Little Farmers & Me


👶💖 A Child & Parent Class

Spend special time with your little one exploring the farm and bonding with our friendly animals 🐖🐑🐰🐓!

Together, you’ll discover the joys of nature 🌸🦋🌿 and enjoy hands-on activities.

✨ Activities Include:
🎨 Arts & crafts
🧸 Farm-themed toys
🌾 Sensory bin exploration
🥕 Feeding and interacting with our animals 🐾

Each class wraps up with a fun group activity such as storytime 📖, music 🎶, or gentle yoga 🧘‍♀️.

📅 Dates: Select Saturdays & weekdays, June–August
⌚ Time: 10:00 AM–11:15 AM
👶 Ages: 18 months–4 years (with a caregiver)
💰 Cost: $20 per child, per class
